CIA Community Information and Learning Centre

CIA has functional Community Information and Learning Centers. CIA believes in community centered development and engagement of people through neutral platforms where knowledge (indigenous and conventional) exchanges and learning take place in the information age and globalization era. We expect communities to be empowered, confident and emotionally intelligent and be able to engage their leaders in the spirit of public participation. We aspire to build an army of citizens committed to work with partners and government to promote positive development and engage in the community development with confidence, clarity, conviction and constructive feedback that fosters mutual accountability. Through the concept of community informatics , CIA acts as community information centre that uses information and communication technology (ICT) to empower members of communities and support their social, cultural, and economic development through dialogues, debates, public participation with focus on;
